This blog is primarily a place to record my thoughts. I never expected a large audience, but I try not to lock my writing away. Since I built a blog, sharing a little about myself and meeting new people along the way is nothing to be ashamed of.

About This Site

AntJun's Blog / Akira_Ant's Blog (referred to below as “this site”) is built with Jekyll and the TeXt theme.
Some site libraries are delivered through BootCDN, unpkg, and jsDelivr to improve loading performance.

I created a personal blog in 2017 and later abandoned it for various reasons. I built this site independently in October 2019. Because I like LoveLive! and coffee, I named it “Otonokizaka COFFEE HOUSE.” This is one of Ant_Jun’s two independent blogs, and all rights to the site belong to me.

This website does not sell anything or solicit personal data or money.

Except in unusual circumstances, the blog is updated on an irregular schedule.

Names

I usually use Ant Jun as my online name. Akira is an English name I chose for myself—really just a romanization—and I also use Akira Kotori and Akira Ant as nicknames.

Where the Names Came From

Ant was the name of the first online gaming group I joined, and I have continued using it ever since. I no longer remember exactly where Akira came from; in Japanese it can mean “dawn.” Kotori comes from the romanized names of Minami Kotori and Itsuka Kotori. I simply liked Minami Kotori and adopted the name.

Life

There is not much worth singling out. I would rather nobody waste their time trying to dox me—I am nobody special.

Personality

It is difficult to evaluate my own personality, so take this section as an informal description rather than an objective account.

I am fairly introverted and usually quiet in person. I am not aggressive online either; I mostly add a few comments where I can find common ground. You may notice that many of my accounts contain little beyond profile information. One reason is simple self-interest: I think privately, bookmark things silently, and often do not leave comments or likes. Another is a streak of perfectionism. I worry that a poorly prepared message will create trouble, so I frequently use words such as “probably” and “perhaps.” I know that kind of language is not ideal in technical documentation, which pushes me to verify facts repeatedly. To avoid the hassle, I sometimes stop creating altogether—or create something and never publish it. (Even this explanation may not be entirely reliable.)

I tend toward pessimistic realism. I am not good at social interaction or verbal expression, and I do not shout and scream. I remain neutral on socially sensitive issues.

Contact Me

For various reasons, I may not reply promptly—honestly, it often depends on my mood. If I disappear for a long time, it does not necessarily mean I am dead; I may simply be taking a break from public life.
